Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The Kuala Lumpur Illustration Fair (KLIF) is pleased to announce the launch of its programme for the upcoming 2023 event. KLIF is an annual event that brings together artists, illustrators, designers, and enthusiasts from all over to celebrate the art of illustration.

    The Art Show (5th – 7th May 2023)
A premier hub for all things illustration – KLIF 2023 is accompanied with quality showcases and dynamic programming. With the vision of providing a niched international arts platform that solely focuses on commercial illustration, KLIF 2023 prides in the quality of showcased work for the Art Show – from a varied array of young and upcoming illustrators, who went through a meticulous shortlisting process; alongside internationally famed creatives such as Jackson Tan (Singapore), Adhira Putra (Indonesia), Steven Choi (Hong Kong) & Viput A (Thailand).

The main idea was to steer away from a conventional art market setting; and instead provide an engaging and dynamic hub for illustrators all over to showcase, exchange ideas, and connect with other professionals in the industry.

At present, there are 100+ participating artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, as well as the Philippines The sections are divided into Featured Guests Artists, KLIF Artists, Filamen’s Digital Art Showcase, as well as a tribute wall to the iconic illustrator – the late ORKIBAL. There will be a diverse amount of presentations – where each artist will fully curate their own booth into little galleries – each showcasing their unique personalities and identity as a brand. Attendees can expect artisanal illustrated goods and merchandise, interactive displays right up to digital showcases.
